I just wanted to say "thanks". My daughter is in second grade. She did fairly well in 1st grade, I thought. But from day one in second grade, she has had trouble with her spelling. We'd spend hours each night going over the words - singing, pretests, repetitive writing, etc. She'd seem to know the words one moment, then forget them the next.
